Teacher’s Day Celebration

The Gurukul International School, Harsawa, celebrated 5thSeptember 2015 as teacher’s day with great enthusiasm. On this auspicious occasion various programs were organized. Honorable Director Dr. Vijay Pal Dhaka, Principal Sh. Rohitashva Dudi and the students of School council paid their tribute to a great educationist Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan with garland and candle. Various cultural programs were organized by the students and teachers of the Institution. Students group dance followed by various cultural program, tie making competitions of teachers followed by musical chair competition, cricket match between the teachers and the students and tug of war between the teachers and students were the major programs of the occasion. Students also played the role of their respective teachers. They taught the students effectively and in the same manner of their respective teachers. They also presented a token of respect to their teachers.

The program ended with principal’s speech. He expressed his views on the importance of teachers in our life. He truly said “Teachers are the role model of society”. According to him, Teachers are the creator of society and a nation builder. He also paid tribute to all the teacher of world wide.

Gurukul International School conducted a Quiz Competition

Gurukul International School conducted a Quiz Competition, Basket Ball match and Volley Ball match on 22nd August 2015 as a part of C.C.E. Activity for Senior Section students. Mr. Mukeshji Lamba solicited the occasion as the Chief Guest. His warm presence exhilarated the students. Students participated in the activities as per their interest. In G. K. Quiz they were asked various questions from the field of Science, English, Maths and Social topics for which they were awarded 10 marks for every right answer and for the pass over questions 5 marks were given. Miss Jyoti Sharma, Junior Wing In charge was the scorer as the quiz was having an ‘Open Decision’.
At last Raman House turned out to be the winner. Second position was grabbed by Aryabhata House and third position was shared by both Newton and Einstein House with equal marks whereas in both the Volleyball and Basketball Competition Aryabhath house was the winner. They were declared winner after a heated competition. Lastly the Runner ups of the competitions were given certificate by Senior House Master Mr. J.S. whereas third and second position holder of the quiz competition were given certificates by the Principal of G.I.S. Mr. Rohitashva Dudi while the Winners of the competitions got their certificates from the chief guest Mr. Mukeshji Lamba along with his blessings of better future.
Principal of G.I.S. Mr. Rohitashva Dudi guided students to work hard in order to increase their capabilities to attain mental as well physical strength in all walks of life.

हिन्दी वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता

हिन्दी वाद विवाद प्रतियोगिता के विजेता एवं अन्य प्रतिभागी प्राचार्य श्री रोहिताश्व डूडी एवं निदेशक श्री विजयपाल ढाका के साथ ||
Gurukul International School conducted a Hindi Debate Competition on the topic ” Nirantar Badhta Sarlikaran Shiksha Ke Star Ko Gira Raha He.” in its campus on Saturday 25th July 2015 for Co Curricular Activity. School was highly obliged to have Dr. Vijaypal Dhakha, Director of G.I.S as its Chief Guest
Mr. Himmat Singh, Administrative Officer of G.I.S. and Dr. Jitendra Singh, Senior House Master of G.I.S. witnessed the program as the special jury members of the competition. Senior students from classes 9th to 12th participated in the competition with full vigour where as all the students took an active participation as audience in the debate. The allotted time frame for the competition was 5-6 minutes. Mohit Sharma of 10th class from Raman House managed to snatch the First Position, Manoj Sidh of 11th Science from Newton House stood Second and Anita Thalor of 9th class from Newton House succeeded to secure the Third position in the competition. Lastly Mr. Rohitashva Dudi, Principal of the school breathed enthusiasm among the students and Director of the school as well as the chief guest of the competition Dr. Vijay Pal Dhaka wished for the better future of the students.
