Hindi Essay Writing Competition


The school conducted ‘Hindi Essay Writing Competition’ for Senior classes on the topic ‘Petroleum Conservation’ on 12th September 2015 as a part of C.C.E. Activity. T.G.T Hindi Mr. Sukhpal of G.I.S witnessed the competition as a judge. The students were judged on various criteria like Content, Handwriting and Presentation of their views. In this neck to neck competition, Anita Thalor of 9th class from Newton House turned  out  to be the winner, Nishtha of 8th class from Newton House bagged second position and third position was grabbed by Rashmi of 8th class from Einstein  House . The second and third position holders were given certificates by the judge Mr. Sukhpal while winner of the competition was given certificate by Principal of G.I.S Mr. Rohitashva Dudi. Lastly Director of school Dr. Vijaypal Dhakha blessed students for their better future.

Hindi Poem Recitation Competition


The school conducted  ‘ Hindi Poem Recitation Competition’ in the pious premises of G.I.S on 12th September 2015 as a part of C.C.A. for nursery to 5th class. This activity was divided into three categories respectively- Nursery to K.G. , First to Third and Fourth to Fifth. The tiny tots’ section presented their mesmerising  performance with full vigour. In the first group 1st position was secured by Nivam of K.G. , 2nd was bagged by Yamini of Nursery and 3rd position was given to Bijender Singh of K.G. In the second group Harshit and Arzoo of class second bagged 1st position, Nikita of class third was declared 2nd Winner and Hitesh of class second along with Manisha of class first attained 3rd position. In the third group Khushi Rathore of class fifth turned out to be the Winner, Jayesh of class fifth got 2nd Position and Yogesh of class fourth received 3rd position. The little poets were judged on different criteria like Content of poem, Presentation and Modulation of voice by Senior House Master Mr. Jitender and System Administrator Mr. Manish  Gupta in the presence of Junior Wing In charge Miss Jyoti Sharma as its Special Guest. The participants put forth their efforts perfect to make the competition a grand success. Winners of the activities were distributed certificates for their lively performance. Principal of the School , Mr. Rohitashva Dudi guided students to give their hundred percent in whatever they do and Director of the School Dr. Vijay Pal Dhaka appreciated the efforts put by students.

G.I.S. Harsawa celebrated the 69th Independence Day of Free India.


                                  G.I.S. Harsawa celebrated the 69th Independence Day of Free India.
Dr. Anil Choudhary M.B.B.S., M.S. Laparoscopy was the chief guest. Guest of Honour Mr. Shiv Lal Lamba, A.G.M. BSNL, Chairman of school Management Committee Mr. Har Dayal Dhaka and Director of School Dr. Vijay Pal Dhaka graced the occasion in the presence of the Intellectual Galaxy. The Tricolour Flag was unfurled along with National Anthem in the background. Junior, Middle and Senior sections of the School presented their magical performances showing their immense love and respect for the nation. Certificates of Excellence by HRD minister, Smriti Irani, Government of India were presented to Mrs. Neetu Gupta, Mr. Anil Acharya, Mr. Tarachand, Mr. Ram Singh Rathore and Mr. Sukhpal for their excellent results as well as to four students namely Nisha Nehra, Devraj, Narendar and Arvind Meel for proving their talent and worth in 10th class by securing CGPA 10.Principal Mr. Rohitashva Dudi was also issued with the letter of appreciation by the honourable HRD Minister,Govt of India for leading the team of teachers to produce excellent result in the session 2014-2015.

            69th Independence Day witnessed the Investiture Ceremony taking place in the G.I.S. Campus in which New Head Boy, Head Girl, Cultural Secretary, Literary Captain and Sports Captain took oath for performing their duties religiously.

            Dr. Anil Choudhary delivered a speech in which he addressed the students to ignite the feeling of Patriotism in their hearts. Then Principal of G.I.S.  Mr. Rohitashva Dudi made the students realise the real worth of independence and inspired them to be free from chains of ignorance and dogmas throughout their life.
Former head boy of the school Rohan Mehala gave vote of thanks to the Chief Guest, all the dignitaries and participants.  At last School Management awarded a memento to Dr. Anil Choudhary as a Token of Love and thus programme ended with an enthusiastic recitation of National Song, Vande Mataram.

In the academic session 2014-15 the five teachers of the Gurukul international school, Harsawa were honored by the honorable Min. of HRD India Mrs. Smriti Irani. Book Fair Inauguration


 Scholar India orgnized 3 days Book Fair at Gurukul International School and it was inaugurated By Dr. Vijaypal Dhaka, Director of Gurukul International School. Principal Sh. Rohitashav Dudi emphasized on the importance of books in our life. Books from national and international authors on various categories like Technology, Education, History, Novels, Science Olympiad etc.  were available in this book fair.

The school conducted ‘English Skit Competition’ on Social and Patriotic themes on 17 July 2015. G.I.S. felt immense pleasure to have Mrs. Reeta Singh, present school lecturer at Govt. Model Se. Sec. School, Harsawa. For presentation of skit each house was given eight to ten minutes’ time. They were judged on different criteria like Content, Presentation and Dialogue Delivery by Mr. Himmat Singh, Administrative Officer GIS along with the special judge Mrs. Reeta Singh. The participants put forth their efforts perfect to make the competition a grand success. Lastly Einstein House bagged third position, Bhaskar House secured second position and Newton House turned out to be the Winner of the competition. Winners of the program were distributed certificates for their lively performance. G.I.S.  Principal, Mr. Rohitashva Dudi thanked Mrs. Reeta for her benign presence for witnessing the competition. Director of school, Dr. Vijay Pal Dhaka appreciated the efforts put by students.
